We knew Chelsea primarily as the church choir director, an incredibly talented one.  Her loss to the church is immense.

We cannot imagine the loss to her family, especially her young daughter.

We send them our love and deepest condolences.

May they find peace and comfort from others.

Karen and Dick Yamasaki

We are thankful we can attend to celebrate Chelsea. She touched so many peoples lives… her spirit touches us all still so deeply.

I was truly heartbroken to hear the news about the passing of my dear friend Chelsea who  filled my days at Vassar College with her infectious giggles, angelic voice, perfect pitch and wonderful oboe playing.  Losing touch with Chelsea is, and now will always be, one of my biggest regrets.  She radiated  joy wherever she went and it is no surprise to see this outpouring of adoration for her here.  I am sorry to have never met Nick and their three beautiful children, and as a mother of three myself, my heart breaks even further for the gravity of her loss to the whole family.  Please accept my prayers and deepest condolences for the loss of this magical being on earth.
I’m so sorry for Chelsea’s passing. My heart breaks for all of you. Please know you are all in my thoughts and prayers. Sending hugs.
