Chase letting me do his make …
Chase letting me do his make up for a Middle School Presentation

We were in Mexico celebrating our graduation from Highschool. One evening walking back to the hotel after dinner my cheap flip flops broke.

This made it so I was essentially shuffling my feet and going really slowly. Chase got a little frustrated at my pace and grabbed my flip flops and threw them.

He then gave me his shoes to finish the walk and we went much faster. We were all laughing at the ridiculousness of the moment.

I'll never forget how sweet Chase was giving me his shoes and walking the rest of the way in his socks.

His frustration was loud, but his kindness was always louder.

World History class sophomore year, we had a test that a friend of ours (Chase and mine) was not going to pass. I made a cheat sheet for this friend and that cheat sheet ended up in many different hands, including Chase's.

He didn't need the cheat sheet. He knew all the information that was asked on the test, but he wanted to compare my answers to his for some reason. This became a consistent fun debate between us, him telling me I got a question wrong (Oppenheimer) and me telling him that I put the wrong answer on the cheat sheet on purpose because I knew the friend I made it for would not know the answer. I'm not sure he ever believed me that I got 100% on that test, though we had a lot of fun talking/debating about it.

Well, Chase got caught with this cheat sheet. The teacher gave him a choice;  tell him who made it and get his A (he also got 100% on the test) or not tell him and fail. Chase chose to fail, which kept me from being grounded for the rest of my high school career. He still got a great grade in the class.

That was Chase. When he loved you, he would do anything for you. Friend, family, or significant other.... Chase would give anything to protect those he loved.

More stories to come.

We had to do a presentation in middle school teaching other students how to do something. I asked for Chase's help with mine and he whole heartedly agreed. (He was my sweetie, even then.)

Chase put on a dress (blue on the top and yellow with flowers on the bottom), he kept his shorts on. He let me put his hair in tiny ponytails with bright colored pony tail holders. He let me do his makeup; foundation, blush, and eye shadow... all in front of our middle school class. We all had so much fun and he was happy helping a friend.

More stories to come.

All my love, Victoria

There was a moment in my life where I was going through a really hard time.  Of all people, Chase reached out to me.  It was quite a surprise I did not see coming.  He spoke so kindly to me, with so much empathy and offered any help, even just wanted me to talk to him whenever I needed.   Chase was so wild and fun, and everyone loved to be around him.   He was always welcoming and had the best hospitality.  However, this was a side of him I'd never seen.   It was in this moment I learned that he was a person who loves deeply, a person who cared very much about the ones he loved.  He was genuinely one of the most kindest, loving and tender hearted people I've ever been blessed to have known.  I will miss him very much.

I will miss you so much, Chase.  Thank you for everything.   All the joy you brought me will never be forgotten.

Love Always,

Pam♡
