CHARLTON’S LIFE THROUGH HIS SISTERS’ EYES
Charlton was our little brother,
Youngest offspring of our mother.
Neither sibling could have guessed
He’d be first to lay to rest.
The fond mem’ries we hold dear
Make us chuckle with each tear.
We feel hurt, but not dejected;
We know he’ll be resurrected.
When he was a little boy,
Electronics was his “toy”.
He loved tinkering with wires!
That fulfilled his heart’s desires.
Once his dreams came to fruition,
He achieved his life’s ambition.
He began a long career
As an adept ENGINEER!
All who knew him well could see
Charlton loved his family!
Now he leaves behind our niece,
His sweet daughter, dear Sherese.
His sisters and others mourn.
We are sad, but not forlorn.
We want all to realize
He’ll be back in Paradise.
All his fam’ly, every friend,
Please know this is not his “end”!
His demise was unexpected,
But he will be resurrected!
Though asleep, soon he will rise;
A gleam you’ll see from his eyes!
Rejoice with us in this hope!
It will surely help you cope.
