Charlton Jacob Loftin

July 8, 1986 – December 30, 2019

Charlton Jacob “Jake” Loftin was taken into glory to his heavenly home with Jesus December 30, 2019 at the age of 33.

Jake was born in Lamesa, Texas on July 8, 1986 to Gene and Susan Loftin. In 2003, he welcomed his first daughter, Ariel Star Loftin and graduated from Sundown High School in 2004. After graduation, he was blessed with his second daughter, Kaydence Belle Loftin. He enjoyed spending time with his girls, being with his family, laughing with his sisters April and Stacia, and loving on his best friend and dog, Bowbatty. He enjoyed working with his hands to make something out of nothing and always strived to do his best in all he did.

Jake was met in Heaven by his cousin, Nathan Halfmann, and lives on in the hearts of his parents, Gene and Susan Loftin of Sundown, Tx; his daughters, Ariel Star and Kaydence Belle Loftin of Sundown, Tx; his sisters, April Loftin of Sundown, Tx and Stacia Loftin Coleman, her husband Chad Coleman and their daughter Mia of Ruidoso, NM; his maternal grandparents, David and Shirley Halfmann of Robert Lee, Tx; his uncles David Halfmann of Dallas, Tx, Roy and Susan Halfmann of Lamesa, Tx, Pat and Teresa Halfmann of Pottsboro, Tx; his aunt Victoria Cantu of San Angelo, Tx; his paternal uncles Richard and Wendy Jones of Lamesa, Tx and Tim and Stacy Jones of Lamesa, Tx; his aunt Hope Kilgore of Lamesa, Tx; special friend Joanna Ramirez and family of Levelland, Tx; many cousins, extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Pearl Loftin of Lamesa, Tx and Marvin and Melva Jones of Lamesa, Tx.

A Celebration of Jake’s life will be held at Living Water Fellowship in Whiteface, Tx on Saturday, January 4, at 3 pm.
