Charlotte's obituary
Charlotte Anne Windsor, affectionately known as “Charlie,” passed away peacefully at her home in Oregon. She was 46.
Born in Salt Lake City, Utah, Charlie was a bright and adventurous spirit who lived life to the fullest. At the age of 18, she moved to Pennsylvania to attend the University of Pennsylvania, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Criminology. Her academic drive was matched by a passion for travel, exploration, and the outdoors.
Charlie lived all over the world, embracing every culture and landscape with open arms. Eventually settling in Oregon, she found peace and purpose in the natural beauty that surrounded her. She was known for her love of animals, especially her pets, who were her loyal companions throughout life.
Charlie is survived by her half-sister Brandie, and half-brothers Nicholas and Drew. She was preceded in death by her mother, Brenda Mackie, and her father, Thomas Windsor.
A private Celebration of Life will be held at her home to honor her beautiful journey and the light she brought to so many.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to a local animal rescue or outdoor conservation organization in Charlie’s memory.
