Background
Charlotte's experience living in and escaping from Nazi Germany affected her deeply. It permeated her life and work, and led her to author many books and articles on psychohistorical topics on topics which remain relevant today. Keeping the memory of the Holocaust alive and teaching the lessons learned from that experience in order to prevent future holocausts was very important to Charlotte.
