Charles's obituary
It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Charles “Chuck” Williams Sr. Born on September 13, 1973, Chuck was known for his high energy, loving nature, and selfless conduct. He sadly left this world on January 20, 2026.
He is survived by his partner Amanda Thompson, his daughter Brandi Morgan, his sister-in-law Linda Gonzalez, brother-in-law William Butler Jr, and sister-in-law Billy Jo Butler. He leaves behind his niece Lakota Fetterhoff and nephews Dakota Fetterhoff, Trey Alexander and Brendan Morgan, as well as his niece BrayLyn Morgan. He was predeceased by his dear mother, Linda Bretz.
Chuck was an active member of the First United Methodist Church Mahanoy City, a Protestant Church. In his lifetime, Chuck was known for his many passions which included playing Spades, watching antique car shows, and cheering for the Cleveland Browns. His favorite movies were Shawshank Redemption. He loved taking long walks with AK, the family's Siberian Husky, and was a lover of all foods edible. His favorite drinks included Brisk iced tea, Jack Daniel’s, and hot coffee.
His favorite color, Blue, was a direct reflection of his personality - cool, soothing, and calm. Apart from enjoying any location out of Pennsylvania as his vacation spot, he loved spending time in Cleveland Browns' locality.
Chuck was a strong advocate for recovery causes and was the epitome of a man who didn't believe in judging others, always asserting "it's not nice to judge someone because you will never know if you could be that person someday.”
He was a hardworking man, a successful contractor, and landscaper. However, his greatest accomplishment was becoming the man he knew he could always be. His legacy remains as an unforgettable impact on all the people he came in contact with.
Chuck, you will always be greatly missed. Your legacy of love, high energy, and selflessness will live on in all the lives you touched. It was an honor to know you and call you family.
