Charles was born on August 1, 1943, in Davenport, Iowa, to Harry and Edith Hill. Charles was the fifth born of seven children. He graduated from North Scott High School in Eldridge, Iowa, and went on to complete a ministerial course of study at Mount Vernon Bible College …
