Chuck and I grew up together through elementary school until he went to Catholic school and then we really didn’t connect until just a few years ago. We used to stay overnight at each other’s houses in those early years that bonded us for life even between those years when we grew apart. I have many happy and fond memories of our time together. My condolences to all the family and his many friends. You are missed.
During this difficult time I want to give my sincerest condolences. Loosing a loved one is an extremely difficult thing in life, and we are left with heartache and sorrow. May you and and your family find in comfort in knowing that our God Jehovah deeply cares for you and your family. He will soon reverse the effects of death by bringing a resurrection. John 5:28,29 says: “Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out.” May this promise that will soon be fulfilled give you strength.
Chuck and I became friends when we were both in high school. Chuck had the biggest heart, he was always looking out for and taking care of others - people and animals alike! My deepest condolences to Jennifer, her daughters and granddaughters, the rest of Chuck’s family, and to all those who knew and loved Chuck. I will miss him.
I first knew Chuck in high school, and although not the best of friends, he did help me master the manual shift transmission. We did discuss various local history and assorted odd topics on social media and were going to get together to compare some of our gathered memorabilia of Flat Rock. I knew he was not in the best of health, and at one time loaned him a pair of crutches. I will miss him, his knowledge, and his wit.
So sorry to hear of Charles passing. I always enjoyed reading his view of what's going on in the world. We all will miss his historical knowledge of The life and Times of Flat Rock Mi.
Charles was my cousin. I didn't know him well, probably because I was a girl and 7 years younger. We became Facebook friends a while back cause 7 years are so little when you are over 60. I am going to miss him a lot.
My Uncle was a great guy. He loved animals. In his lifetime he saved and rescued many. He would diagnose their illnesses and get the the right meds to help. He was a wonderful father to his daughter, grandfather and great grandfather. His family was his rock. My Uncle and I talked and texted often. We would call and just pick up where we left off every time. I will miss our conversations and advice he had for me whenever I needed it. It saddens me to lose him. I will miss him so much. I Love you Uncle Chuck, May you find peace. Plz give my dad, son, brother and grand parents a hug from me. Until we meet again... ❤️❤️❤️😘😘😘
Although I never knew Chuck personally and only met him once several years ago, he and I were good friends on Facebook. We shared a common disdain for Trump and the GOP and also shared a similar sense of humor and sarcasm. I shall miss his lack of diplomacy and abruptness when dealing with the Trumpites on Facebook. God rest his soul. RIP Chuck.
