Charles Oliver Tarpley , age 76, died on January 7th, 2023, in Carson, California.
Charles is survived by his children Sharon, Robyn, Amanda, Clifford, Cerna and stepdaughter Nichole and his grandchildren.
Charles was born on March 10th, 1946 in Philadelphia, PA, to parents John and Olive.
Charles, who was also known as, Bootchie, was a social man. He enjoyed going on long drives, playing jazz music. His family and friends will always remember him as a jokester, and a funny person.
A funeral is scheduled for 12pm February 17th, 2023 on Friday, at Cypress Lawn Memorial with a reception to follow at Thornton A Sullivan Park at Silver Lake. His daughter Cerna will officiate. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Charles’s life.
