Charles's obituary
Charles Sylvan Dunn
Beloved son, brother, uncle, cousin, nephew, friend, everything. He was an amazing human with the biggest heart and a huge personality. He unexpectedly passed away on Tuesday July 29th.
He was born December 26th, 1985 in Luling, Texas. From day one he was the challenge and blessing his parents and family needed. He kept everyone on their toes and kept the laughter flowing. He met some of his closest friends at an early age when he was playing baseball, friends that stayed around all through his school years. As the years went on his interest grew and so did his friend group. He loved playing football, making music with friends, and doing anything that would give him a thrill. He was one of those people who never met a stranger. He would shake your hand and you felt like you had known him for years . He did anything and everything he could for those close to him and it made him happiest to be surrounded by friends and family.
He was also an amazing actor, grew up doing plays at the tyler civic theater at a summer program called S.T.A.R (which he also met lifetime friends) and sam bass community theater. He never got denied a role because all he had to do was flash that dimply smile and he got what he wanted.
He was a friend you wanted to have around constantly, he could make you laugh even when you felt like crying. All you needed was a chase bear hug to make your worries and fears go away. He loved with everything he had, and spent his life pouring love into anyone and everyone who would accept it.
If you knew him you knew his love for star wars, video games, his nephews and nieces, and UT football. All of which were his rocks that kept him going.
He was a hard worker who never let anything stop him, his coworkers stated "everyone wanted to work with him, he was such a positive energy to be around and there was never a dull moment" Truer words could not be spoken. He was a light, even in the darkness he still sparkled.
He was a baptized Christian and member of St. Philips United Methodist Church
He is survived by his Parents Roy and Lee Ann Dunn, his Grandmother Ann haddock-richter, His oldest sister Nicole Brandon, her husband Paul, and their daughter Khloe, His older Brother Nathan Dunn, his wife Emily and their two children Kaitlyn and Kason, His Younger Sister Heather Dunn McCormick, her Husband Kyle and their 2 children Liam and Braylee .
