Charles Sterling “Chuck” Moore, 73, passed away on July 30, 2025, in Fort Worth, Texas.
Born on December 12, 1951, Chuck graduated from Castleberry High School before proudly serving in the United States Air Force, completing two tours during the Vietnam War. Following his military service, he continued to dedicate himself to public service by assisting with the police force and attending the fire academy. Later in life, he brought his strong work ethic and friendly spirit to Russell Feed Supply, where he completed his professional journey.
Chuck was a man who found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He loved to hunt and fish, and he cherished every moment spent with his family. Known for his fun-loving nature and boundless energy for conversation, Chuck had a gift for storytelling and a quick wit that could bring a smile to anyone’s face. He was always ready with a joke or a tale and could talk for hours with friends and strangers alike.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Michelle Moore; daughter Amanda Jacobs and her husband C.J.; son Troy Moore and his wife Shera; son Jake Moore; daughter Brandie Edwards and her husband Carl; son Jimmie Parris; and twelve grandchildren who brought him immense pride and joy.
Chuck was preceded in death by his parents, Boyd Edward Moore and Camie Louis Moore, as well as his brother Nick Moore.
A celebration of Chuck’s life will be held at a later date.
Chuck’s memory lives on in the hearts of those who knew him. His laughter, stories, and love for family will be deeply missed but fondly remembered.
