Tony Spell, beloved son, father, and grandfather, passed away on August 10, 2023, at the age of 61 in his home in Boerne, Texas. Born on April 24, 1962, he was the son of Harry and Bernice Spell.

Tony leaves behind his Mother, his brother Mike Spell, his sister Suzanne Courtney, his son Matthew Spell and his cherished grandson, Cameron Spell.

Tony spent his formidable years in Lake Jackson, Texas. He had passions for drawing, music, dirt bikes and sailing. His love of sailing influenced his decision to pursue a degree in Ocean Engineering from Texas A&M University.

After attaining his masters degree he moved to Miami where he quickly made a name for himself in the Miami oceanfront engineering industry. His peers cherished him as a trusted friend and respected him as an exceptionally talented engineer.

Tony moved back to Lake Jackson, Texas in 2008 to help care for his mother and father. He continued his successful career as a freelance engineer, doing remote work for countless oceanfront engineering projects on the Miami seaboard. In 2020 Tony and his mother moved to Boerne to be closer to family. Tony and his brother designed and built an amazing disc golf course in Joshua Springs County Park which opened in early 2021.

Tony passed peacefully in his sleep from cardiovascular disease, recently diagnosed.

His legacy will live on through the love he shared and the impact he made on the lives of those around him. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
