Scott's obituary
We sadly announce the passing of Charles "Scott" Reynolds. Scott, born on June 18, 1957, was called from this life on April 22, 2025. Scott was a beloved husband, father, brother, friend and coach.
He leaves behind his devoted wife of almost 28 years, Judith Reynolds, along with their cherished children; daughters Adeline Reynolds (Johnstown, CO) and Katheryne Reynolds (Nashville, TN), and son Gavin Reynolds (Centennial, CO). He also leaves behind his brother, Brian Reynolds. Scott was predeceased by his parents, Katherine and Charles Reynolds, and his brother, Steven Reynolds.
Scott was an accomplished man, having graduated from the California Institute of Technology in 1980 with a degree in Engineering and Applied Science. Scott spent his career working as a software engineer in a wide variety of fields.
Over the years, Scott's love of travel took him to Scotland, Europe, Hawaii, and Tahiti and the many places in the USA. His favorite color was green, reflecting his love for the outdoors and nature.
Among his favorite recreational activities were archery, hiking, camping, traveling, reading, and online gaming. Scott also enjoyed volleyball and scuba diving. He became a Tennessee Volunteer by marriage, and loved the Denver Broncos and Colorado Avalanche.
Scott was so proud of the years spent coaching archery and of his own shooting; placing 2nd in the 2016 barebow Master's Men US National Target Championship. But, above all, he was proud of his family. The legacy Scott leaves behind is one of family and commitment – having raised three wonderful children.
Scott was a pillar of strength and support to those who knew him, described by his loved ones as the rock who held them steady and supported them in all they did. His enduring love, intelligence, wit, and unwavering dedication will be greatly missed but will live on in the hearts of those he left behind.
