Mr. Charles "Danny" Ruff, 51, of Northumberland, PA, peacefully passed away on October 15, 2022 after a battle with complications from childhood cancer.  

Born on April 1, 1971 in Pennsylvania  to the late C. David Ruff and the late Judith Borden Ruff Scranage, Danny was a tender hearted and loving boy. Danny went on to have two children. Zack R. Martin of Burgettstown and Jayce Ruff of Northumberland, PA. Danny was a strong, kind and loving man. Danny thoroughly enjoyed music and was lucky enough to join the Monsters of Rock cruise on multiple occasions. He most recently was gifted tickets to Ghost and Volbeat and talked about it almost daily. Danny was happiest with the volume turned up to 11 and his guitar on his shoulder. Danny’s love of music was surpassed only by his love of friends and family, speaking to his brother Michael each and every day and connecting with his maternal family living in the Midwest.  His welcoming and joyous personality will be missed dearly.

Danny leaves behind his stepmother Marion Ruff, step grandparents and his paternal grandparents, his brother Michael Todd Ruff, his half sister Kelly Lawver, half brother Dave Ruff (Ann), nephew Michael Edward Ruff (Nowreen), niece Kierstyn Green, nephew Zachary Lawver and niece Addison Lawver , aunts, uncles and many cousins. The family is planning a celebration on Sunday the 23rd at 2pm. American Legion 44 in Northumberland.
