Background
Danny lived his last days in severe physical pain, fear and depression. He had cancer as a little boy and went through chemotherapy. He had a kidney removed by the age of three. Within the last year he started having severe pain in his hip and back. The same side his kidney was removed. The doctor told him he needed hip replacement asap due to the chemotherapy damage. He was scheduled for surgery in early October but some test results and his blood pressure set his surgery back. He couldn’t stand the pain, became depressed and scared. I couldn’t get to him by any means other than an occasional text because I was out of the US. I tried keeping his spirits up until I could get home to talk to him. The last text to me was October 10th. “Hey Cuz”. I was on a plane and could not answer. I started looking harder for him when his big brother, Michael, reached out and said he had not talked to Danny in four days. They talk just about every day so I knew something was wrong. I called local PD for a well person check. I called his half brother, messaged his half sister, called hospitals.
I got the call from the coroner around 11:30 10/19/22. I knew in my heart what had happened. I need to take care of Danny and any loose ends. We are planning a Celebration of life on 10/23. Details are in the events section. We need help paying for all of this and taking care of his “estate”.
