Charles D. Peterson, affectionately known as Chuck, passed away peacefully on May 20, 2025, in Missouri City, Texas, at the age of 65. Born on August 22, 1959, in Elgin, Illinois, Chuck was a beloved husband, father, brother, and friend who touched countless lives with his warmth, humor, and generosity.

A graduate of Bellaire High School, Chuck met the love of his life, Becky, there—his high school sweetheart and lifelong partner. Chuck and Becky went on to graduate from Sam Houston State University and got married in 1983. Together they built a beautiful life and family, raising two sons, Matt and Mike, whom he loved deeply. He is also survived by his daughters-in-law, Lindsay and Mallory, and was joyfully anticipating becoming a grandfather in the near future.

Chuck spent over 40 years building custom homes in the Houston area alongside his brother DC, earning a reputation for integrity, craftsmanship, and dedication to his work. Beyond the job sites, he was known for his easygoing nature, quick wit, and deep loyalty to his family and friends.

A passionate Houston sports fan, Chuck could always be found cheering on his teams—win or lose—with his trademark laid-back spirit and a smile. He is also survived by his brothers DC, Wendell and sister Tina Peterson, who, along with so many others, will miss his presence deeply.

Chuck’s legacy is one of love, laughter, and an unwavering commitment to those he cared about most. He will be remembered always with fondness and gratitude.
