With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Mr. Charles "Chuck" Maxwell, who entered into rest on May 8, 2024. Born on October 17, 1954, Charles' rich life was marked by an unwavering dedication to his family and a deep commitment to his work.

Charles was better known as 'Chuck' among friends and family, but he preferred to be called by his original name, Charles. His amiable personality and compassionate nature were the bedrock of the many relationships he developed over the years.

He leaves behind a loving family that includes his unconditionally supportive wife, Carola Anders, and his devoted son, Kevin Maxwell. He is also survived by his caring mother, Mrs. Betty Maxwell, along with his brothers, Mark and Timothy Maxwell, both of whom shared a unique bond with Charles.

Charles embarked on a new chapter of his life in 2016 when he moved to the scenic town of Carmel-by-the-Sea, California. This transition marked a period of tranquility and joy as he embraced the community's vibrant lifestyle.

He found a new purpose in his professional life in 2018 when he started reviving the Little European Lodge. His contribution to this establishment was profound, not just in his professional role, but also through the many personal connections he formed there.

Charles' life was a testament to strength, love, and dedication. His memory will continue to inspire and guide us, and his spirit will forever be a part of the many lives he touched. He will be greatly missed.
