Erika, Susie and Jason you all have my deepest sympathies. I’ve know Brian my whole life. My dad was one of his best friends, he was a great person to us all the time. Always up for coffee and talk’s anytime. One of my favourite memories will always be, me teasing him about “ the piano”.
He will be forever missed🥰
I hope him my dad, Leonard are all having coffee and having endless talks.
Brian's Galaxie is more than just a car; it's a time capsule of cherished memories and a symbol of deep emotional attachment. The painstaking restoration of the 428 Cu inch engine was a labor of love, made even more special with the help of a good friend, Rand. The moment the engine was installed and the motor rumbled with the power of a 428, it was an unparalleled feeling of achievement. See picture below.
"There are countless childhood stories to choose from, but one thing's for sure - he was quite a handful for his mom and dad. When I met and married him and listened to his childhood stories, I quickly realized that his mischievous nature kept his parents constantly on their toes! Lucky for me, he outgrew them. Thanks, Lynn and Ernie, for doing such a great job raising Brian.
This was a long, long time ago, like 58 years ago. On a Saturday evening, sometimes in October. I drove down Hastings St. in Vancouver with a friend in my car. When this car pulled up beside mine, this guy asked if I wanted to go for coffee. For whatever reason, I answered yes without any hesitation. We went to the White Spot drive-in restaurant and sat for hours talking. Gave Brian my phone number just like that. He phoned me the next, and we saw each other daily until we married on September 9, 1967. And our journey together began.
