Charles (Chuck) Ouellette, 56, of Debary, FL, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, October 17, 2021.
Chuck was born in Buffalo, NY on November 30, 1964. He is the son of the late Frederick Ouellette, Sr., and Margaret (Wagner) Ouellette. He moved to Deland, FL, with his family in 1977 from Trumbull, CT. He married Julie Taylor on June 4, 1988, in Ormond Beach, FL.
Chuck had a diverse career and an entrepreneurial spirit. In his career, he enjoyed working in technology and engineering fields, and has successfully owned and operated multiple related businesses. Most recently he worked as an over-the-road truck driver for a company located in Springfield, MO, where he discovered his true professional passion. When he wasn’t working, he loved the outdoors, traveling, going camping, listening to live music, and spending time with his family and friends.
Chuck is survived by his wife Julie, children John D’Alessandro (Sarah) of Deland, FL, Michelle D’Alessandro (Tim Hanson) of Sanford, FL, granddaughter McKayla, siblings Frederick Ouellette, Jr., and Thomas Ouellette, of Tennessee, Beverly Ouellette of Boulder, CO, Barbara Ouellette, Jeanne Davis (Edwin) of Ormond Beach, FL, and many nephews, nieces, great-nephews, and great-nieces.
Chuck is preceded in death by his parents Frederick Ouellette, Sr., and Margaret Wagner Ouellette, and his nephew Andrew Ouellette.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, November 6, 2021, at 1450 Hand Ave., Ormond Beach, FL 32174, with Pastor Joe Putting of Tomoka Christian Church officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his memory may be made to the American Lung Association or A Heart to Give Inc.
