Charles David “Chuck” Neighbors, III passed away February 25, 2022 at the age of 53. He was born October 11, 1968 to Charles David Neighbors, Jr. and Judy Francine Holland Neighbors.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Judy Neighbors; great-niece, Elizabeth Grace “Lizzie” Hines.

He is survived by his wife of 13 years, Melissa R. “Lisa” Neighbors; children, Charles David “Daniel Monroe Neighbors; daughter, Jerica Elaine Rooks (Jeffrey); grand children Benjamin Laine Turney, Colton Judge Rooks, Liam Jonathan Rooks; father, Charles David Neighbors, Jr.; sister, Mundi (Jeff) Fancher; nieces and nephews, Amanda (Eddie) Collins, Joshua Collins (Brandy), Margaret “Maggie” (Brett) Porter and John Morgan Rinehart; great-nieces, Michaela (David) Knox; great-great-niece, Alaina Knox and a host of cousins.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home with Bro. Hunter Bulger officiating. Interment will follow at Bagby Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday evening at the funeral home from 6:00-8:00 p.m.

Pallbearers will be Kevin Rinehart, John Morgan Rinehart, Joshua Collins, Jeff Fancher, Kevin Hines and Mike McAfee.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
