Not a day goes by that I don’t think about Papa Charlie. I want to call him and plan to go up and work, have dinner a few Mishalatos and just talk! He was very knowledgable of many things including the Bible. He was a selfless man who would do anything for the people he loved. I pray for all his family who mourn his loss and will be able to celebrate his wonderful life in April! RIP my friend!
Jeralyn, so sorry to hear about your dad's passing. You've been thru so much heartache. I think I met your dad once when he came to visit when you lived in Pinckney. I remember he was a big guy with a kind heart and enjoyed being with his grandchildren that day. Hugs and continued prayers for you and your family.
Charlie passed on his love for life, love for the outdoors and hunting and fishing and all that goes with it to his kids, grandkids and yes, great grandchild. Through stories shared, pictures and memories talked about, even the grandchildren he never met we love him. What better words could be written about a man! He lived his life in a way that everyone who knew him loved him. Papa Charlie will live in their hearts forever! Rest in peace, Papa Charlie, You so deserve it.
