Chuck's obituary

Charles F. Lott, known affectionately as Chuck, passed away on June 19, 2024, at the age of 68 in Columbus, Ohio. Born on April 30, 1956, Chuck grew up in Worthington, Ohio, and attended Worthington High School class of 1974 before earning a business degree from Ohio University.

Chuck devoted much of his professional life to Columbus Distribution Co., where he made a notable impact as a salesman. His remarkable ability to connect with people helped him achieve the Salesman of the Year award in 2002 and sell over 13 million cases of beer throughout his career.

Beyond his work, Chuck was a man of many passions. He loved traveling with his family, playing golf, and indulging in his love for horse racing and NASCAR. His generous and kind nature made him a beloved figure in his community and among his friends.

Chuck is survived by his daughter, Ryan Lott; his former wife, Barb Lott; his sister, Nancy Bower Able; and his nephew, Brody Bower. His presence in their lives will be deeply missed.

Calling hours will be held on September 15th from 1:00-3:00pm at Swim and Racquet Club, 3500 Kenny Rd, Columbus, Ohio 43221. Chuck's life will be celebrated and remembered for the joy and dedication he brought to every aspect of his life.
