We just wanted to share with everyone who has offered their support our deepest, heartfelt gratitude. A special thank you to those who donated towards dad's funeral expenses. Especially during these uncertain times for everyone. Political preferences aside, we can only hope our government will get better in the coming years. Dad did his best to plan ahead so my sister and I would have as little to worry over as possible. Unfortunately, not everything was successfully complete before he got sick so we still have to pay a fair amount to ensure everything is sorted. The funeral company we have been working with has also been wonderfully kind, and have done their best to make this as smooth a transition as we can manage. To that end, dad wanted to keep the whole thing as simple as possible. Upon his wishes, he's to be cremated. We hope to soon return to our home state of NJ to have a Mass of Remembrance at the church where dad found his faith, and be buried with his parents, whom he loved very much. Once we are able to iron out the final details, you all will be notified. Thank you again to all who reached out to us both personally and through our updates online.
