Charles's obituary
Charles William Janosky II, 37, passed away, unexpectedly, in a car accident on July 13, 2022 in Orange Park, FL.
Charles was born on November 5, 1984 in Boston, Massachusetts to Charles Janosky and Dalinda deJony Janosky. He is pre-deceased by his mother, who he joined in heaven on her birthday. The family moved to China, Maine in 1986. Charles attended Erskine Academy in South China, ME, where he was a legend in his basketball career, playing for the Eagles as #24. He was a beast on and off the court and you could always find him with a few basketballs rolling around his car and home. He would stop randomly at any point in his day and jump on a court.
After high school, Charles attended the University of Maine at Farmington. He moved to Florida in 2002, where he later studied at Daytona State College for 4 years. Charles found his niche’ in selling high end cars in Daytona Beach and north Florida. He quickly became top seller anywhere he worked and later, Finance Manager. His passion was buying and selling import vehicles so you could always find him driving a different vehicle than the day before.
Charles leaves behind the lights of his life, his loving children, his “wolfpack” and his world, Jayla Charlotte Janosky, 9, Charles William Janosky III, 7, Scarlett Harper Janosky, 5 and Theodore Jace Janosky, 3 years old, all who adored him.
Charles also leaves behind his father, Charles Janosky of Waterville, ME, sister, Desiree’ Bower of China, ME, brother, Roger Bower of China, ME, brother, Sean and sister Kim Janosky, as well as very special nephews and nieces, Dakota Willette, Kaden McDonald, Keiran McDonald, Nevaeh Bower, Dalinda Bower and a great niece, Lydia Willette.
Charlie was larger than life and lit up any room with his smile and personality. He had an infectious laugh and even through his many trials and tribulations he always saw the silver lining in life. He loved more than anything to spend time with his children, family and close friends.
Charlie’s daughter, Jayla was diagnosed with ALL Leukemia at age 2, while the family lived in Florida. Charles packed up his family without a plan and headed to Boston for the best care at Dana-Farber Cancer Center. He was relentless in his quest to cure his baby girl and he did just that and all with a smile on his face every single day. He did that with two more babies in tow and another on the way and never skipped a beat.
We are taking some time to be together and process such a great loss of son, brother, best friend and uncle, while focusing on the children and making sure their needs are met.
Funeral services will be posted as soon as they become available.
