Many fond memories of Charlie from Ransom Rd RV park when we were there
Loved to visit and cook up something
Been fishing with him , had super bowl parties and just sat outside visiting a lot
He will be missed
Love ya my friend !
Well where can I start: Met Charles when he was hired as a Bus Driver for Aransas Pass ISD. He was a great driver and loved the kids on the bus. He had a passion on the rules and regulations and thought drivers needed to be paid more than what they were receiving. Well Charles followed chain of command, then took it to the Board of Trustees, spoke up for the drivers and they all received a pay increase Thanks to Charles for speaking out. We kept in touch all thru the years. He would come to our house many many times and ate supper, he loved my tortillas. After APISD he went to work for Gregory Portland ISD as a bus driver as well. With in years he became ill and realized he had cancer in the throat. Throughout his cancer treatments in Corpus Christi, trips to Houston, and trips to San Antonio he became a little better. Here recently he became ill again with pneumonia and had to be with usage of an oxygen tank. He was stubborn and wouldn't use it everyday like he was suppose to. His last weeks was at Doctors Regional Hospital and came home with a feeding tube. He was not happy, but he knew that it is what it is but, he managed until pneumonia strike down again and he couldn't breathe, back to Doctors Regional Hospital. Charles from all trips and everything that went on we had sad times happy times we were there for you and still will be there thinking of you always. You gave it a Great Fight Great Man Love You!!!
