In [1976], [he] met [Heneratte], and they wed in [1980], going on to have [10] children, [Gerald Fields, Charles Jr. Fields, Raven Fields, Brenda Fields, Anthony Jones (Paula), Bobby Jean, Terrance Fields, Jermaine Fields, Kathryn Thornton, Denise Fields].

After retiring in [2005], [Charles] spent [his] time building houses, yard work, and fishing].

[Charles] was predeceased by his son Gerald and Charles Jr. He is survived by a host grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and families and friends.
