Charles Henry's obituary
Charles Henry Clark, Jr., affectionately known as Charlie or Chuck, passed away peacefully on May 30, 2025 at the age of 74 after a valiant battle with cancer. Charlie was born at Bridgeport Hospital, and spent most of his life in Milford, Connecticut. He was a proud graduate of Milford High School, Class of 1969.
Charlie spent many years working at Center Auto in Milford before continuing his career at the University of New Haven, where he was known for his dedication and warm spirit.
To know Charlie was to love him. A man of few words but endless kindness, he had a quiet sense of humor, a heart full of love, and a smile that showed in his eyes. He made everyone feel welcome, and his presence brought comfort and joy to all who knew him.
He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara Clark; his daughter, Stacy Trigg; and his treasured grandson, Emerson Trigg. He also leaves behind his brother, Henry C. Clark and wife Carol; his sister, Jacqueline Clark Bitso and husband Robert; his niece, Amber Perreault and husband Adam; his nephew, Robert Bitso; his great-nieces Harper and Charley Perreault.
Charlie was preceded in death by his parents, Charles H. Clark Sr. and Belvedera Banta Clark.
In accordance with his wishes, Charlie will be cremated, and his ashes will be laid to rest at Mt. St. Peter Cemetery in Derby, Connecticut on June 23rd, 2025 at 11:00 a.m.
The family will hold a Celebration of Life in Charlie's honor on July 12th at 2pm
