I met Charles aka Chuckie, in 2003 when I moved to Georgia from California. Like most people who knew him in GA. I purchased a car from him. 🙂 Later, I would meet his mother, brother, nephew & children. His family became my extended family and vice versa, he was, like an uncle to my children and was the first person I would call, when my youngest son got out of line; lol. Charles was -kind, generous, fearless & strong - an advocate for his mother & he loved his family, dearly. Over time, he became a humble man. (This is surreal.)

Charles wasn't a perfect man, but he was and always, will be my friend. He would always say... "If we are friends... we'll always BE friends" Rest well, Chuckie. Fe.

My friend will truly be missed. Watching his live fb videos on how he took care, expressed and showed so much love for his Mom would bring tears to my eyes bcs I didn’t see tht from a lot of men.
