R.I.P. to my Cousin Chuck.  Chuck had the brightest smile and he was very nice.

Farewell my dear cousin  “Chuck , Chuck”

The amber glow of Johnnie Walker's sway,

A warmth that mirrored Chuck in every way.

Now stilled, the hand that raised the crystal neat,

No longer warming by the fire's heat.

His haven waited, bubbles soft and deep,

Where worries faded and the world would sleep.

No steam now rises, carrying his sigh,

Just silent tiles beneath an empty sky.

The melodies he loved, a vibrant stream,

Now echo softly in a fading dream.

No more the tap of foot, the humming low,

The soundtrack silenced, where did the music go?

His shelves, a history in miniature,

Each antique knick-knack, stories to endure.

A silent testament to days gone by,

Reflecting memories in a tearful eye.

And Carmen's picture, always close at hand,

A love unbroken, in this lonely land.

He's joined her now, where earthly sorrows cease,

Their spirits mingled in eternal peace.

That booming laughter, sudden and so bright,

That chased away the shadows of the night.

The playful jab, the twinkle in his eye,

A mischievous spirit that could never die.

For Etha's love, a constant, guiding star,

He held such gratitude, no matter how near or far.

Her strength, her grace, a comfort and a guide,

A bond unbreakable, where love would still abide.

But oh, dear Chuck, the silence cuts so deep,

The laughter lost, the promises we'd keep.

Like a brother true, our bond a precious art,

I'll hold your memory within my heart.

Those times we shared, the stories and the fun,

Beneath the moon, the setting of the sun.

I'll miss the teasing, the easy, friendly air,

And know our laughter lingers everywhere.
