I would like to share with you my memories of my Dad.
I was told as a infant I would not sleep without laying on my Dad’s chest. As I grew older I always begged to go to “the farm”; wanted to help cut down trees for wood to burn for the winter, help bale hay for the cows, help shear the sheep; etc. at age 5 I learned how to drive an old tractor (I sat on his lap and steered ), tried to drive a snowmobile ( took down a fence) ok he was a little mad, but when I told him I would fix it he just shook his head and laughed. I loved going to the auction with him (mom said no more puppies), so... he got me a baby cow (I called herBlackey), I sat in the back seat of our car with my new pet (boy was mom mad). Age 6 I thought I was Evil Knievel and jumped a small cement pad sticking out from the bank (steep hill) in our back yard...hit my head, next thing I know I’m sitting on the kitchen table with my Dad fussing over me...Dad looked worse off than me. The first time I was stung by a bee he sucked that stinger right out of my finger.. btw he is deathly allergic to bee venom. Countless emergent visits to the hospital in the middle of the night due to asthma attacks. Age 12 I was hit by a car walking home from church, he was the 1st one there but was the furthest from me.
He was very creative with food...he made the hottest goulash I have ever eaten mashed potatoes with all kinds of thing in it.. again very hot, but he did try and we laugh about it now.
I loved hanging out with him on Sunday after church watching old movies (favorite wasTarzan) while Mom cooked Sunday dinner.
When we moved to Florida I worked with my Dad on Saturday and Sunday. Sometimes we would go to the flea market and search out old stuff, my 1st paycheck I bought him a pocket watch as he could not wear a normal watch as they would stop working within hours of wearing one. On Sunday on the way to work he would stop at a diner for breakfast (just him and me). These were special times for me. He was the hardest working man I know and I think that all of my siblings (Tim, Shannon, Nico and Hollie ) and myself inherited his work ethic.
My Dad loved all.. with all of his heart.. his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, brother, sisters and all extended family and friends.
I remember my Dad as loving, kind, thoughtful, comforting and a man that put all others before himself.

I will see you again Dad.... I love you ❤️

Shannon are my niece and nephew.. I knew Bud for many years. He is definitely one of the good people on this earth... May his good memories sustain all of you during this time of grief... He will be remembered by all you as a kind and loving person.. Barb Taylor Farrell
Grandpa loved to play games with us when we were young. He loved chess and checkers. He used to get out a bag of m&ms to play Chinese Checkers with and he would eat them as he went along. I will never forget that. I remember my sister and I made him cookies one time and forgot to put sugar in them and he pretended to like them anyways 😂. He was always trying to make us kids happy.

Bud and I played dominoes almost every night for a couple years. He was not just my brother, but my best friend. He was truly a wonderful man. He will be greatly missed by all.
