Charles's obituary
Charles Ray Baringer Sr., age 86, passed away on December 10, 2025. He was born on August 30, 1939, in Monroe Township, Putnam County, Ohio, and was raised in Continental, Ohio, where he later graduated from Continental High School. A lifelong traveler who loved meeting new people, Charles spent his later years living between Jacksonville, North Carolina; Mayfield, Kentucky; and Yuma, Arizona.
Charles proudly spoke of his time in the National Guard and dedicated his working life to honest, dependable labor. He worked as a mechanic, service writer, service manager, and later as a Walmart employee. Known for never missing a day of work, he took great pride in teaching family and friends how to do tune-ups and maintain their vehicles so they would last longer.
