Charles's obituary
"Tony" graduated from Northwestern High School after moving to the Detroit area in 1985.
He was given the gifts of his first two children, Christina A and Calvin A Ball in 1988 and 1991, and later married to Linda M. (McIntire) Ball with whom he had a set of twins, Charles A. II and Courtney L. Ball in 1995. He was also blessed with four grandchildren, Lance, Kaden, and Audriana Parker and Zayne Johnson.
"Tony" was employed as a Wayne County Deputy Sheriff for about 12 years and also served in the MI Army National Guard, later resigning due his decline in health. He was a die hard Lions Fan, enjoyed playing with his grandchildren, and attended every event in their lives. He was also a dedicated and loving father and husband. He was a true warrior through the illnesses and fought a good fight.
Tony was proceeded in death by his father, Charles Lee Ball, his grand parents, Thomas Montague and Della (Coker-Montague) Knight, Wiley Ball Sr, and Ethel (Parker) Ball, as well as one aunt, Mary "Angie" Woods.
He leaves to cherish and honor his memory by his devoted wife, Linda, his four adoring children, Christina, Calvin, Charles II (Sandra), and Courtney Ball, his beloved mother Antonia Ball, five loving siblings, Christopher, Jeffrey (Tina), Robert (LaRon) Ball, Alysia Wallace, and Brandon Ball, a brother and sister-in-law Peter and Barbara McDougall, mother and father-in-law, William and Therese McIntire and his four grand children. A host of honoring nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and dearly loved great Uncle and Aunt, George and Janice Estmond.
