I am so honored that I contacted Charlie Ara in October this year and I got to interview him on my podcast show The Kaptain’s Table. The show was on KABC 790 talk radio AM in Los Angeles a couple weeks ago. My family knew Father Ara through the St. Lawrence Redondo Catholic Church and the school I went to in Burbank Saint Finbar. We had a couple of occasions to drive Charlie to appointments. Those were most memorable because of the joy and laughter we shared to and from. Charlie was an inspiration, a teacher and a fun person.
