Charlene's obituary

Charlene L. Young, 51

Entered eternal rest on December 22, 2020 surrounded by the love of her family and friends.  Charlene was born in Findlay, Ohio and later moved to Florida with her then husband L. Thomas Young, and their daughter Jessica. Her passion was her family. She simply adored her granddaughters. She loved going boating with her fiancee Cameron Rutherford, the girls, and her little dog Bella. She enjoyed cooking and having company over. She always made everyone feel at home. She loved serving her guests and making people feel happy.  She worked as a server for over 35 years for various restaurants and bars including Smokey Bones, Carrabba's, The Tiki Bar, and Red Lobster.  Randy Wetherington was her favorite boss. Everywhere Char went she made a friend, and they became lifelong friends. She is survived by her three granddaughter's Jada, Jalin, and Jacey, her mother Linda Courtney, her sister Tina Elder, nieces Brittany, Malynda, and Brianna, nephew Joshua. She was preceded in death by her father Charles E. Dietrich, and her daughter Jessica S. Young. In memory of Char we will be holding a celebration of life on Saturday January 16, 2020 @11:30 am at John S. Taylor Park 1108 8th Ave S.W. Largo, FL 33770 Shelter #4.

Our hearts are broken but we know she is no longer suffering, and we will see her again as God's promise to us.

You will always stay, loved and remembered everyday
