Charlene was my counselor who took care of me for many years, while I was going through a hard time and I always considered her to be a very close friend.
I remember a time when I was house sitting for her. And one of her dogs ran away, and I was terrified and beside myself with how I was going to break it to her that I lost one of her dogs... and I couldn't believe that she cared more about me and my anxiety about it, than her missing dog. She was very calm about it and assured me to just relax that she was sure someone would find and return her dog which inevitably did happen. But I couldn't believe how calm she was, and the fact that she cared more about my level of anxiety than her dog running away. This was only one example of just how compassionate and caring charlene was.
This news was absolutely devastating... the world lost a sincere and truly compassionate human being. Rest in peace Charlene. And thank you for everything you gave the world!

We are so sorry to hear of Charlene’s passing. We met her over thirty years ago at Fiesta Mall where she was doing taxes for H and R block. The next year we met with her at her home. I loved talking with Charlene she was bright and witty. We have missed her the last couple of years since we now travel full time. Rest In Peace Charlene. You are deeply missed.

Sean and Erik,
I am so sorry for your loss. Charlene and I were friends through high school and beyond. I was a bridesmaid in your parents’ wedding and visited all of you in Pennsylvania when you were just babies. Your mother was a wonderful woman who loved both of you very much. May she Rest In Peace and may you find comfort in your memories of her love and devotion.

I was Charlene Plonowski's roommate at Bucknell. Charlene was gorgeous. She knew that men found her attractive and was entirely uninterested in being liked for her looks. She was warm and genuine. I was lucky to share a formative year with such a kind and loving friend.

My condolences to Charlene's family. I first met Charlene in our neighborhood in Foxboro, Ma. We were on the FHS Drill Team together. Our lives reconnected on Facebook where memories and commonalities were shared. I am saddened to read of her passing; my sincere condolence to her sons, friends & family!

Charlene was such a sweet lady. Alway loving, generous, and willing to laugh. She welcomed me with open arms when I became friends with Erik. I gained a bonus mom. She will be missed 💔 But the day will come when we see her again 😊
