I had the pleasure of knowing and working for Chan and her family for the last 2 years. Since I met her, she’s been the sparkling example of hard work, determination, love, and passion. She had the kindest heart and most beautiful soul. When I asked her where she got her passion and strength from, told me it was her family that meant everything to her. Her parents who she wanted to give them the world, her sisters who she loves so much and admired like none other, her husband who supported her and loved her, and her kids who she loved so deeply and cared for unlike anything else. Chan has always told me to reach for more and to put my passion and energy into something greater. She inspired me to work harder and give my all in everything I do. It was Chan who inspired me to explore the fields of business and real estate. At the end of this summer, I will be getting a certificate of proficiency and completion in the field of real estate, and it is because of Chan that I could say that I did it. I dedicate this to her, because she showed and taught me what the true values of life are.  She was the strongest, bravest, most hard working person, and she was someone I proudly call a mentor and a role model. The last message I sent to her, I asked for advice. Instead, I wish I had told her how much I loved and appreciated her. One time Joaquin told me about Chan’s ideas of opening a noodle restaurant, and I would often  joke about how I would drop everything to go help her if she ever decided to do so. She was my role model, my inspiration, and she is the type of person I hope to become the more I grow up.  I will continue to do everything I can to make her proud, and I will continue to work hard and give my all, just like how she did. I will never forget her amazing spirit and words of wisdom she’s given me. Her legacy will never be forgotten, as Chan has touched the lives of so many, and has never failed to inspire us. She will continue to stay a bright light for all of us and remind us all of the person she was.  The strongest, brightest, and most beautiful person, we love you Chan! <3
