I only just saw this now by chance. I had not spoken with Chad in many years and never knew him as Dutch, but thought of him often and attempted to connect with him many times over the years. He was a very dear friend and I have missed his friendship for a very long time. I am so incredibly sorry to read of his passing. Keith and Chris and family, please accept my sincerest condolences.

Very sad to hear about Chad, he was a neighbour to me and always stopped to play with my dogs and have a good chat. I was always amazed at how he could do anything at his house even doing his own driveway.
He always took time to talk , and I hope he is enjoying it in heaven probably fixing something up there. 😊

Chad came into my life as a friend of my two sons but always took the time to come sit with me to chat and to share a cup of Ovaltine. He was always such a bright soul.
I cannot imagine the pain of losing him. My sincere condolences to his family and everyone who knew and loved him.

I’m so sorry to hear this. I taught him years ago. Such a wonderful guy. I spoke to him last summer for the first time in years and it was so nice to see him again.

There are not words that could come close to healing the pain in your hearts nor could they summarize Dutch easily. Being so lucky to call Chris and Sonia my best friends, I also got to have Chad in my life too. And what a gift that was. I will never forget him offering to stand in the wedding on Chris's behalf due to his health challenges at the time and having all of you there for that day is a memory I will always cherish.
I always adored Dutch, even if I drove him absolutely mad sometimes. I will always fondly remember the good times we all had & as long as my heart beats he will be remembered.

I am so sorry to hear this! Chad was a great guy and I had the chance to meet him and he instantly was warm making an “ ol gal” feel comfortable! We had lots of laughs. Take care of yourselves through this difficult time and beyond.

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of Chad. He came into my life as a friend of my son, and I was much enriched by knowing him. I still have a picture of him as “Corporal Chad of the Cape Breton Liberation Army” on my living room wall. Just something silly, but that was Chad. I often drive by the street he bought his house on, and always wondered how he was doing. He and my son lost touch, but we never lost our affection for him. Again, I am so sorry and cannot imagine the pain you’re going through. I wish I could take it away.

Keith and Chris and family I'm so sorry for your loss. I was broken hearted to heard this news. Chad was my rock thought high school one of the best friends a girl could have. We lost touch over the years but he was always on my mind. Sending love and hugs to you guys.
