Chad was the best friend anyone could have ever asked for. Of course, we met out dancing and that was the start of our relationship. Chad taught me to snowboard in March 2015 up at Keystone, a day I will always dote on and never forget. On one of our last trips that year we got stopped outside a tunnel, so we rolled down the windows and blared “Jonny Cash” by Jason Aldean and danced between all the cars. Dancing meant so much to the both of us and we just connected on a different level when we were on a dancefloor. Chad was a backbone for me through my tough times and vice versa, our go to was to take a drive-up gold camp road, listening to music. I will cherish our last drive that we took together only a few weeks ago. Chad’s smile and laugh were the most contagious of anyone’s I have ever met, and he will be greatly missed and always loved. My condolences go out to his amazing mother and his sisters who always made me feel like part of the family. Until we meet again bub <3

I remember playing soccer with Chad and my brother Logan in high school after their games. Chad would stay after the game for a few minutes to let me shoot a couple shots on goal with him. He would sometimes hop in goal and have me try to score against him or just pass the ball around on the sideline. I remember thinking he was so talented and kind.
