It has been a little bit over a year and a half since we lost Tia Cenny yet there is not a day we don't think about her. As we initiate this new year, last weekend we were finally able to bring her back to the place she was born, in a small house located in one of the most magical places in Colombia, nestled among the mountains in the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta. She used to play there as a child with her siblings, and one of her favorite places was a small creek called "Quebrada Eugenia" (Eugenia's Creek). Some of her siblings, her nephew/godson and his daughters which tia Cenny considered as her and uncle Larry's granddaughters were able to bring her back home, honor her and celebrate her life. She is now resting in the house she was born and in the creek too.

Uncle Larry, the family in Colombia and myself wanted to share these special pictures with you in order to continue remembering Tia Cenny as that great force she was with the most beautiful smile.
