Celeste's obituary
We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Celeste Richards on November 14, 2025. Celeste was born on February 11, 1955, a beacon of love and kindness that blessed our lives for seventy years.
Renowned for her personality, Celeste was a kind, giving, and loving individual. One of her firmest beliefs was to treat everyone with kindness and respect, a lesson she practiced daily and passed on to others. Her legacy of kindness and generosity continues to live on in the lives of those she touched.
Among her greatest accomplishments, Celeste treasured her family above all. Her utmost pride and joy were her daughters and grandchildren, who she cherished immensely. Despite our profound grief, we find solace knowing that her love continues to guide and watch over us.
She is survived by her daughters Stephanie Farthing(Clark Farthing) and Heather Hodge(Chad Hodge). There is no doubt that they will continue to uphold their mother's values and instill them in future generations, ensuring that Celeste's legacy of love and kindness endures. She is also survived by many grandchildren. Johnathan Paxson Jr, Nathan Paxson, Austin Paxson, Izzy Farthing, Bryson Farthing, Abby Farthing, Blake Hodge(Cadie Reiff-Hodge), Austin Hodge and Alexys Hodge. And 1 great grandson Atlas Hodge. As well as many Brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews, whom she loved deeply.
Celeste's loving spirit was not exclusive to her human family. She will be deeply missed by her loyal and loving dog, Shadow. Her care and love for Shadow was a testament to her compassionate nature.
A Celebration of Celeste's life is set to be held on November 21, 2025, from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at 1321 Pater Ave Church of God in the basement event room. Please be aware that there are steps to walk down and no wheelchair access to this area. It is our opportunity to come together to pay tribute to a woman who gave so much of herself to others.
Celeste Richards may have left us in body, but her spirit, her teachings, and her love remain forever etched in our hearts. As we navigate the days ahead without her physical presence, we remember to honor her memory by living out the lessons she taught us: to be kind, to give generously, and to love abundantly.
