It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Celeste Cruz on April 17, 2023. Born on August 16, 1968, she brought joy, warmth, and love to all who knew her. Celeste was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, leaving behind her husband Guillermo Cruz; her children, Sarah and Gabriel Cruz; her grandchildren, Leonardo, Salvador, and Sophia Villafana-Cruz; and her mother, Anita Ramirez.

Celeste had a deep appreciation for the simple pleasures in life. Her favorite foods were tamales, burritos, and enchiladas, and she enjoyed sipping coffee and tea. She loved listening to oldies music and watching cartoons and game shows. A fan of all things Disney, Celeste brought the magic of these films into her daily life.

Celeste was a proud supporter of the San Francisco 49ers and cherished spending her free time shopping and bonding with her beloved grandchildren. Some of her favorite local spots included Macy's, Walmart, and Target. She was a passionate supporter of St. Jude's and ASPCA, and loved the colors pink and purple.

Those who were fortunate enough to know Celeste would describe her as fun, warm, kind, and loving. She believed in the power of kindness, often expressing that the kindness you give will always come back to you. As we remember Celeste, we honor her legacy of kindness and love, and strive to live by the lessons she shared with us.
