**Obituary for Cedric Daniel Eagle**

Cedric Daniel Eagle, age 73, of Dublin, Georgia, passed away on August 4, 2025.

Cedric was born on July 21, 1952, and grew up on a farm, where he developed a lifelong passion for agriculture and the outdoors. He was a loving man who believed in loyalty and hard work. A straight shooter with a quiet sense of humor and a private nature, he was a true man's man who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and all things related to country life. He earned the designation of Free Mason and served his country as a veteran of the United States military, having been drafted out of high school. Cedric was excited about reviving the family property, and his family will continue his legacy by honoring his wishes to support those efforts as one family.

Cedric was preceded in death by his parents, Lueonie B. Eagle and  Leroy Eagle; his daughter, Stephanie Thomas, wife Bernastein (Bette) and his siblings, Lula, Anne, Frank, Tyron, Robert, Leroy Jr. presumed deceased).

Cedric was loved by many and is survived by his grandchildren, Maya Thomas, Tia Thomas, and Trey Thomas; his great-grandchildren; his son-in-law, Bobby Thomas; his sisters, Jeraline Eagle, Mavis Williams, and Mary Eagle; sister in law Regina Eagle and his dearest living friends, Lamar Martin and Leshawn Mosley; and his beloved goddaughter, Corretta. He is also survived by a host of neices and nephews and Several cousins.

In remembrance of Cedric, he requested cremation and that his ashes be scattered at his mother’s grave. There will be no formal funeral. The family will hold a celebration of his life; information will be announced in the coming weeks.
