1961, Phoenix, AZ in front of our home
Mom and Dad brought home this beautiful little bundle, my sister, Cecilia. They put her in my arms and I just kept staring at her, the sister I wanted so badly, and had prayed for, for four years. Thank you Lord for giving her to us. We are grateful for her, her family and friends, and colleagues. I was so proud to be her big sister for 62 years.

Sending loving prayers to all of CeCe’s wonderful family. So very grateful for our close friendship for so many years. CeCe made work a better place to be with her caring attitude, and genuine support for her patients and co-workers. She shared the delight and happiness of her family with everyone surrounding her. Cece was a strong and compassionate nurse who put the needs of her patients first. I could always depend on her knowledge and follow-though in caring for patients in the CICU. My condolences to Kermit and Cece’s family, friends and all who knew her at PVHMC. She will be missed but made a significant difference in many lives.

I don't think I've met a man more in love and committed to his girlfriend-to-be-wife than Kermit.  I am so saddened.  I offer my most sincere condolences to those fortunate enough to have Cecilia in their lives.  May wonderful memories soon overwhelm the pain her loss must bring.

Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Hope that you all find the strength to deal with the passing of our beloved Cece. Cece is like family to me. She is a dear friend for many years. A very dedicated CVICU Charge nurse with very high standard. Extremely dedicated to her unit that throughout her 36 years working with me she had been very helpful to our staff. A dedicated wife and mother and she really loved her family. Extremely proud of her 3 lovely daughters Nicolle, McKenzie, Erika and her son Zachary. She is also a loving grandmother for Walker, talked about him all the time and very devoted wife to husband Kermit and loving mother in law . I will missed her a lot. Love you forever Cece. You will always be in my heart.,

Oh sweet CeCe I was your nurse the day you were diagnosed and that was one of the saddest days I have ever had as an RN.  You were such an amazing person and a ray of sunshine.  You will be missed by many.

May God bless CeCe’s family and friends during this most difficult time. CeCe was an angel on earth. There is no doubt in my mind that she is resting peacefully in heaven and will be watching over us all. She was so loving and giving and will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege to know her.
