Cecilia Ann (Lagstrom) Cascella, of Liverpool, NY (formerly of Otisco, NY;  PA;  and  NJ), left this earth peacefully, surrounded by loved ones, on April 20, 2019, and walked into the loving arms of her angels, her Mom and Dad, brothers, and nephew, as they cried tears of joy, being able to greet her once again, and welcome her into heaven.  Cecilia may be best known for her red hair and her beautiful singing voice, but she will also always be remembered for her vibrant bright light and presence, her cheerfulness, her big laughter, her love, and her care.  Her beloved boys Christopher and Jonathan were, and are, her heart and her whole world, now and forever.  Cecilia grew up in Otisco, NY, the youngest of eight children, a graduate of Tully High School, enjoyed traveling all over for singing gigs, loved cooking, holidays, singing, camping, and being with her family and friendfamily for get-togethers.  At the time of Cecilia's passing, Cecilia was predeceased by her parents, Florence and (Lars) Peter "Pete" Lagstrom, brothers Gary (Laura), Calvin (Donna Retzbach), and Robert (Jean) Lagstrom, and nephew Mason (Angelle) Lagstrom.  At the time of Cecilia's passing, Cecilia is survived by sons Christopher and Jonathan Cascella, spouse Gary Cascella, sisters Janice (Daniel Evans) and Sandra (Roger Cunningham), and brothers Eric (Linda) and Alvin (Kathleen) Lagstrom, and several nieces and nephews, cousins she considered best friends, aunts, close friends she considered family, and in-laws.  *(As of this writing on June 24, 2025, Cecilia has been joined in heaven by her brother Alvin Lagstrom and her brother-in-law Roger Cunningham, and as of this writing, Cecilia is also survived by the welcome additions to the family of her son Jonathan Cascella - Tracy Cudworth and grandchildren Stephen and Annabelle.)

A graveside service was held at Onondaga Valley Cemetery, Valley Rd., Syracuse, NY, April 27, 2019 at 10am.
