Cecilia Amelia Sandoval

It is with great sorrow that we announce the death of Cecilia Amelia (Pacheco) Sandoval (Merced, California), born in Tucson, Arizona. She passed away on April 1, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving behind family and friends. She was known for being a very caring person with a big heart, she was a Caregiver in previous years who enjoyed working with the elderly and keeping them company. She had a good sense of humor who would tell it like it was and made everyone laugh around her. Cecilia was known for her good cooking, her friendliness, enjoying time with family and going to the Casinos.

Cecilia was predeceased by her husband Henry, parents, Ruperto Pacheco and Beatrice Pacheco, sisters Dolores Montez, Maria Socorro Coronado, Rita Maravilla, and Margaret De la Cruz.

Survived by her children, Rosalinda Elias, Delma Chavez, Esther Roman, Margie Rodriguez, Henry Sandoval II (Imelda), Richard Sandoval (Sandra),

15 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.

Siblings, Ruperto Pacheco II (Thamar), Catalina Coronado, Ernestina Coronado (Ramiro), Linda Lopez, Raymond Sardina, Jessie Herrera (Pablo), Joaquin Sardina (Grace), Pete Sardina, Frank Sardina.

A rosary will be held on Friday, April 28, 2023, from 9:30 am to 10:00 am at the St. Patrick's Parish (671 East Yosemite Avenue, Merced, California 95340). Mass will start at 10:00 am immediately following the rosary.  Reception will follow in the Parish Hall after the mass till 2:00 pm.
