Mr. Cecil Strayhand, 69, of Manteca, CA, passed away on October 06, 2022.

Cecil was born on the 5th of March 1953 to Autry and Jettie Strayhand in Arizona. After graduating from high school, he was drafted into the US Navy.


After honorably serving his time in the US Navy, he met Betty Hutcherson, and they wed February 14th, 1980.  Cecil and Betty raised 3 strong beautiful children, Aaron, Adrienne and Vicki.  Cecil was a force of nature, determined to provide for his family and give them the life he felt they deserved. Christ and his family meant more to him than anything else in the world, something he often mentioned. He was undeniably proud of his children and loved his wife, always trying his best to support them.


Cecil was passionate for cooking and making his famous BBQ sauce and could often be found fishing when he wasn’t at home.


Anyone who knew Cecil knew that he was the most loving father and husband a family could ask for. Cecil was predeceased by his lovely wife Betty and his loving parents Autry and Jettie. He is survived by his son Aaron Strayhand (Carrie), daughter Adrienne Strayhand, daughter Vicki Brown, Grandkids Marcus and Mikayla Brown, Jordan and Maze Strayhand and great-grandkids Noah Smith and Kaaliyah Brown.    We thank you all for your loving words and prayers and know that Cecil touched many hearts outside of ours.  There will be a funeral service/celebration of life at Park View Cemetery & Funeral Home 3661 E. French Camp Road Manteca, CA 95336 starting at 2pm - 4pm pst.
