It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Cecil Manring. Born in the year of 1948, Cecil departed this world on March 7, 1991. A man of humor and relentless compassion, he dedicated his life to the service and care of others. His loving and caring personality brought light into the lives of many, reflecting the essence of his mission.
Cecil was not only a dedicated family man, but also a spiritual guide for many. His role as a Pentecostal preacher engraved a deep love for teaching people the word of God, sharing wisdom and truths that could transform lives. His greatest accomplishment was the beautiful family he raised with his beloved wife, Velma Manring. As the loving father of three daughters, Latricia, Amy and Regina Manring, Cecil upheld the virtues of love, kindness and generosity, instilling these values into his children.
A man cherished by his family and friends, Cecil is fondly remembered by his dear wife Velma, and adoring daughters Latricia, Amy and Regina. He also continues to live in the heart of his sister Joyce McCormick. He was followed in death by his parents, Alvin Clyde Manring and Rosemary Manring, and his brother Jim Bishop.
His legacy is one of selflessness and love. Always willing to help anyone in need, Cecil has left an indelible mark on the hearts of those he touched. His absence is deeply felt, and he is greatly missed by his family and friends.
