We’d started a tradition of having a holiday lunch at one of our favorite restaurants, Club Lucky in Chicago. This was two years ago. When Cathy and Matthew lived in Chicago (Buck Town), we’d walk to the restaurant. Great Italian food. Good times.

I LOVE seeing so many picture…
2023, Vernon Hills, IL
I LOVE seeing so many pictures capturing Cathy's flair during the different eras of her life! I am adding a more recent one, taken January 21, 2023, at the birthday party Cathy and Matthew threw for Sara Knizhnik (centered, presenting the cake alongside her sister, Rebekah Snyder). What I remember most about that evening was Cathy's toast. Even though we all had our glasses raised in honor of Sara, Cathy gave equal praise to each of us and the catalyst of friendship that brought us to the table that day. I will miss her forever!

I am beyond devastated to hear of Cathy's passing. She was a true friend. We were close friends for many years. I could always count on Cathy. She always put others first. We had so many good times over the years. She loved her family and friends. I always considered her my little sister.  Celebrating many milestones along the way.  I was thrilled when she met the love of her life, Matthew. I was honored to be at her wedding to Matt, and she stood up in mine.  She was a talented artist in various mediums. I will always treasure the times we spent together. Fly free my friend.
