Catherine Sue Sargert passed on August 12, 2011. She was born February 6, 1961 in San Diego, CA to Louis and Juanita Wilfinger.

A “California girl” if there ever was one, Cathy spent her youth boating, off-roading, water skiing and ditching school to sunbathe her days away with her best friend, Kris, down on Pacific Beach.

In July of 1984, Cathy married the love of her life and next door neighbor, Floyd Sargert. They moved from Southern California to McCall, Idaho. Here, Cathy traded her water skis for snow skis, but still made it out on the lake every summer to boat, camp and fish. The water was truly where she felt most at home.

Cathy and Floyd had 3 children together and moved to Lake Havasu City, Az in the mid 90’s. Cathy loved it there- the big lake, the sunsets, even the 110+ degree weather all spoke to her heart.

And Cathy was a person with heart. She loved her family, animals and friends with all of her heart. Her passion for life and her sense of humor could put anyone at ease and make them feel like the most important person in the room. She is dearly missed everyday.

Catherine is survived by her husband, Floyd Sargert, sons, Kyle Sargert & Evan Sargert, daughter, Wendy Sargert, father, Louis Wilfinger, brothers, Lawrence Wilfinger, Robby Wilfinger, and Kenneth Wilfinger and many nieces and nephews who she loved and cherished.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Juanita Wilfinger and her canine best friend, Dodger.
